Flu Shot Reimbursement

Accurate Home Care is happy to announce that we will be reimbursing $20 to employees who receive the H1N1/Seasonal Flu vaccination beginning September 1, 2011.  It is our hope that every employee remains healthy at all times, including during the flu season.  The 2011-2012 influenza vaccine will protect against three different flu viruses so there will be no need to receive separate shots for each strain.  In order to receive reimbursement for your vaccination, please send a copy to our office providing proof that you have received the shot on September 1, 2011 or later.   Please access http://www.cdc.gov/flu/ for more information on this season’s influenza vaccinations.

New DHS PCA Training Requirements

DHS has announced that the individual PCA online training is now available.  EVERY new PCA will need to complete this training BEFORE  they are assigned a provider number.  Read more click here.

Identification Badges

As another gesture to help comfort our clients, we are creating ID badges for all employees. This authentication will deliver peace of mind to our clients that the person coming to their home is not just anyone, they are an Accurate Home Care employee. It will also provide our clients and our office with a level of security.  If you want to email a digital picture we can make a badge and mail it to you or please stop by either the Elk River, MN or Moline, Illinois office at your earliest convenience to get your badge made while you wait. The process of creating a badge only takes a few minutes.
