Infant born at 24 weeks gestation

This baby receives 24 hours of Private Duty Nursing to assist the parents with tracheotomy related cares.  He requires the use of a ventilator to help him breathe, gastrostomy tube to assist with feeding, and numerous other cares.  The nurses in the home provide cares and interventions, as well as assessments, observations and therapies to ensure his safety as well as growth and development.
