An adult male with Progressive Multiple Sclerosis

Client is trached but not ventilator dependent receives 16 hours a day of PCA services. PCA's assist this client with clean technique suctioning and daily trach cares.  PCA's also assist client with meeting all ADL's. This client also receives assistance with his Bowel and Bladder programs.  The client has a GJ tube and also receives help from staff to meet nutritional needs by assisting with tube feedings of formula administered via feeding pump and also providing bolus's of water every 1-2 hours to maintain adequate hydration.  PCA staff provide client with social stimulation and companionship while promoting client independence in a home environment.
