Adult female with a diagnosis of malignant melanoma      (skin cancer) and recently diagnosed seizure disorder

She is currently receiving Chemo and Radiation therapies.  The seizure disorder has left her with little use of her arms and legs.  She receives 7.25 hours a day of PCA services.  The PCA's assist her with all ADL's and also provides her with verbal prompts and reminders to take her daily medications as prescribed by her physician.  PCA's also assist client with meal prep, cooking, cleaning, errand running, shopping/grocery shopping and laundry due to cancer treatments which leave her physically and mentally exhausted.  The services provided assist her to put her energies towards getting better.  The PCA also provides her the needed social companionship and the verbal encouragements she requires.
