Private Duty Nursing
I was a foster mom for a medically fragile baby whom I decided to adopt. I had tried a couple of different home care agencies prior to finding Accurate Home Care. I find AHC's professionalism, kindness, and genuine knowledge of not only my daughter's needs but how to work with my family as well, far surpassed all of my expectations. My little girl needed 24 hour around the clock nursing care because she was trached and ventilator dependent. She cannot speak, so we had to learn sign language to teach her communication skills. The nurses were instrumental in helping her learn these new skills. I like that I got to choose which nurses I thought would be the best for my daughter. It made the time I spend with my other children more precious as I didn't have to worry about her needs being taken care of. Keeping a medically fragile child home is a lifestyle choice, and Accurate Home Care made it an easy choice for me and my family to keep her home with us.
I am a foster mother with one or two babies with special needs in my home at any given time. I have used many nursing agencies. I started with Accurate Home Care in October of 2003. I have never been so happy with an agency before. I have more support. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I receive the schedule for the nurses who will be coming two weeks before the next month. A case manager comes out every 2 months. They do the best they can to fill nursing shifts. They do not think of it as "too much trouble," I can always call them if I have a problem and know they will be there for us.
Private Duty Nursing/ Personal Care Assistant
I've been a client of Accurate Home Care since 2003. I am on a ventilator at night and Accurate Home Care provides me around the clock yearly duty nursing care, as well as Personal Care Attendant services for light housekeeping or if they're unable to cover a shift with a nurse. I have been on a ventilator and needing nurses for the past 13 years, and I have been with about three different agencies until I started with Accurate Home Care.
Private Duty Nursing
When Amy (company founder) came to do my interview, I felt right away that her main focus was taking care of people and making sure her clients are cared for in a healthy and happy manner. Amy has gone above and beyond her call of duty. She has accommodated all of my needs in a very caring and professional manner. Accurate Home Care respects their clients. They do something called a Meet and Greet that I had never had at other agencies. This is so I can meet the nurses before we do all the training on my shifts and avoid personality clashes and avoid wasting time for my nurse, the trainee, and myself. The nurses that care for me are all very respectful, professional, and dedicated nurses who truly care about my health and well being. The staff at the office has been very pleasant to work with. They are very timely on returning phone calls, as well as very fun and friendly to work with. Overall Accurate Home Care has been committed to making sure I am being properly cared for and I have less stress than I did with the other agencies. Accurate Home Care is very dedicated to keeping their clients at home, healthy, and out of the hospital.

I am so enthusiastic when I talk about Accurate Home Care! They are the most thorough, ethical, honest company I have ever worked with. I refer Accurate Home Care to everyone I meet. They have made my family's life so much more manageable with the medical needs of my son, that we can all relax knowing his needs aer eing taken care of by quality nurses that genuinely care about my son.
Private Duty Nursing
When your child is sick with a terminal illness, any parent would love to stay home and be with them. Since I have to work just to pay the bills, it is very calming to know Rosie (our nurse) is with our son. Of course I think about him every other second when I am gone, but I don't worry about him. I know he is in an angel's hands. Without the help of my son's nurses and Accurate Home Care, I don't think I would be able to work or even concentrate o my work. Accurate Home Care has been very professional, yet caring and concerned about our family's needs.

When my wife got ALzheimer's disease I tried to care for her on my own. She is the love of my life and I wanted to keep her at home. Her disease progressed to a point that she could not safely be left alone while I went to work. I was work short days and trying everyway I could to take care of my wife, until I found Accurate Home Care. They have been so easy to work with and we got quality care givers into our home. My wife and I interviewed different care givers in our home until we found a couple of PCA's we were comfortable with. I am a very detail oriented person, and AHC made the transition of bringing people into our home so easy. I can now go back to work comfortably knowing my wife is being taken care of by extremely together, knowledgeable, nice, and reassuring care givers. I am so grateful for all the help I am getting for my wife and myself from Accurate Home Care.

I wanted to let Accurate Home Care know who wonderful my sister's PCA was. My sister said she was such a joy to have around. She was always in a good mood and always got my sister into a good mood especially after her treatments. We were truly blessed to have her there. She has a heart of gold and we could not have been able to keep our sister at home through this process if it wasn't for Accurate Home Care.
Personal Care Assistant
We have been with Accurate Home Care since November 2008. My son, age 5, has been diagnosed with Global Apraxia, seizure disorder of unknown cause, Hypotonia, MMR and ODD. Having a PCA for him has helped both him and myself in many ways. His PCA and I joke that she's a "Mommy's Helper". But she's much more than that. She provides my son with a sense of self worth by encouraging him to do more and by being available when he needs extra help. She gives him the individual attention he needs and works with him in multiple ways. Before we had services from Accurate, I had a very difficult time providing the assistance he needed without depriving my other children of my attention and care. I couldn't even take a shower before as I could not leave the boys alone without trouble ensuing. My son would try to lay on his baby brother or join him in his crib. I am now able to take a shower every day. My son's PCA helps him with al his ADL's; she also teaches him his numbers, letters and how to write, play games and interact appropriately. The PCA's also attend many of his doctor's appointments and therapy sessions. This provides me with another person to help keep all the boys under control, and frees me to attend other necessary things when they bring him themselves. Having a PCA for my son allows me to find the time I need to spend more time with my other two children, ages 3.5 years and 10 months. It has also allowed him to develop with the undivided attention and assistance from his PCA. Our life before the PCA's from Accurate was constant chaos, and it would return to that if we lost the PCA for my son.
